I love many David Lynch movies but I guess Eraserhead (his first feature film, turned 40 in 2018) has to be remembered as one of the best ones in his career.
Without trying to explain such a deeply layered work, I've always been fascinated by its brilliant direction, visionary mise-en-scene and bleak cinematography... Lynch is a master at creating a twisted (inner) reality that feels somehow relatable and worth exploring.
